Music break
Evan had a good baseball practice today. He is a little scared of the ball when it is pitched inside when batting, or is throw/hit right at him. Last year he seemed more aggressive at the plate, being able to get good contact on most of his swings. But with just one week of practice under his belt, he is sure to improve. Where we really need to work on is his fielding. He isn't yet getting under the ball when he tries to catch a fly ball. He also is afraid of getting hit by a ball when a hard grounder is hit at him. But his spirit is high, and he has plenty of hustle, so he'll make me proud this year without a doubt.
Now he is at his piano lessons, where he also loves music. Glad to see his interests are so varied!
